Terra Martire

Terra Martire is Chief Human Resources Officer at Sara Lee Frozen Bakery, where she leads HR strategy, talent development, and organizational culture for the maker of Sara Lee®, Chef Pierre®, Van's®, and other frozen bakery and dessert brands. She joined the company in 2022 as Vice President of Human Resources before being elevated to CHRO in 2025.

Building Culture That's Intentional, Not Incidental

Before Sara Lee Frozen Bakery, Terra spent more than three years at Tyson Foods as Human Resources Director, leading large-scale HR programs supporting business operations in Chicago, including employee engagement, workforce planning, and leadership development. Earlier in her career, she worked in HR at Northern Trust in financial services and began at ViaQuest as an HR Coordinator. That range, from manufacturing to financial services, shapes her view that culture isn't created by a single initiative but built daily through leadership, trust, accountability, and the everyday experiences organizations create for their teams.
