Shawn Boyer is Founder and CEO of goHappy, a frontline employee engagement platform he launched in 2017 after a career built around connecting frontline and hourly workers with employers. He has spent close to 26 years focused specifically on the frontline HR space.

From Snagajob to goHappy: Two Decades in Frontline Work

Before goHappy, Shawn founded and led Snagajob as CEO from 2000 to 2013, then as Chairman of the Board through 2015, growing it from an idea into the nation's largest marketplace for hourly workers and employers, with more than 50 million members at the time of his departure. Under his leadership, Snagajob was named to Fortune's Great Place to Work list for small and medium workplaces for six consecutive years, including a number one ranking in 2011, and to Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 for five straight years. In 2008, the U.S. Small Business Administration named him National Small Business Person of the Year. At goHappy, he now works with employers across retail, hospitality, manufacturing, and healthcare on the data behind frontline retention, drawing on a benchmark data set spanning tens of thousands of frontline workers.
