His response is Career Bird's core mechanic: tying an employee's learning journey directly to their career journey, so people see they're building toward something specific rather than completing training for its own sake. His framework rests on two human motivators, mastery and autonomy, arguing that when people can genuinely get better at their craft and are trusted to do the work their own way, satisfaction and performance rise together.
