Kyle M.K.
Kyle M.K. is Senior Talent Strategy Advisor at Indeed, where he translates workforce research and emerging AI and skills trends into practical hiring strategy for employers. He is also the best-selling author of The Economics of Emotion, known for an emotion-first, human-centered take on how businesses attract and keep talent.
Bringing Emotional Intelligence Into Hiring
Before Indeed, Kyle worked with Apple and studied service and experience design at organizations including Disney and The Ritz-Carlton, work that still shapes how he thinks about employer communication and the emotional side of how people connect to their jobs. He built his career without a college degree, and identifies as a STAR (Skilled Through Alternative Routes) professional, a background he points to as evidence that talent is universal even when opportunity is not. At Indeed, he now focuses on AI in hiring, skills-first strategy, and using data to fix slow or broken hiring pipelines, recently speaking publicly on how Indeed's AI Sourcing Assistant is changing time-to-hire for recruiters.
Topics Kyle speaks on
