Kristina Karcic-Ehret
Kristina Karcic-Ehret is Founder, Fractional HR Executive & Advisor at Karcic Partners, where she and her team act as fractional CPOs and COOs bridging people, operations, and business strategy for high-growth companies. She holds a Master's in HR Management from NYU and brings more than 20 years of experience, including as Senior Vice President, People at Human Security, where she managed a $3.2M P&L budget and architected HR frameworks supporting rapid growth and M&A integrations, and earlier at Sisense, where she led an award-winning culture initiative across 500+ employees worldwide.
Scaling Without Losing Agility or Culture
Kristina's core practice at Karcic Partners is built around a specific tension: high-growth companies need real HR infrastructure to scale sustainably, but that infrastructure can easily calcify into bureaucracy that kills the agility and culture that made the company successful in the first place. Her fix is treating HR frameworks as scalable architecture rather than rigid policy, building Centers of Excellence and talent development systems that flex as a company grows instead of locking it into one operating model. She's also written candidly about AI in HR, acknowledging the very real fear many HR leaders feel about it while making the case that approaching AI strategically, rather than avoiding it, is itself a competitive advantage. She recently joined a Women in Governance executive board, reflecting her broader focus on advancing women into boardroom and leadership roles.
