Jesse Harriott, PhD
Jesse Harriott, PhD, is WHiQ (Workhuman iQ) Vice President at Workhuman. He is a research and analytics professional with more than 20 years of experience who has advised private and public organizations, including the White House, the Federal Reserve, and the U.S. Department of Labor, on analytics and labor-market issues. Before Workhuman, he served as Chief Analytics Officer at Constant Contact.
Turning Feelings Into Facts
Jesse leads Workhuman's Human Intelligence research, which applies natural language processing to the unstructured text inside everyday peer recognition moments, rather than relying only on traditional operational metrics like headcount and turnover. His central argument is that recognition data has been sitting there all along as an underused signal: analyzing who recognizes whom, and for what, can reveal a "culture graph," meaning how work actually gets done beneath the formal org chart, surfacing hidden skills, informal leadership, and collaboration patterns that standard HR dashboards miss entirely. He describes the shift succinctly as "turning feelings into facts."
Topics Jesse speaks on

- Mapping the informal "culture graph" beneath the org chart
- Why traditional HR dashboards miss the workforce signals that matter most
- Applying natural language processing to unstructured people data
- Labor-market and workforce analytics research
Sessions with Achieve
Jesse is a featured presenter on the Achieve webcast "What Your HR Dashboards Miss: The Untapped Workforce Intelligence Driving Change" (December 11, 2025), presented in partnership with Workhuman alongside colleagues Tom Libretto and Meisha-ann Martin, and Kathi Enderes of the Josh Bersin Company. In it, he explains how Workhuman's Human Intelligence approach surfaces cultural and performance signals hidden in everyday recognition moments, reframing recognition as a measurable business advantage rather than just a morale booster.
