Co-Founder, Partner
Vital

Bryan Breckenridge is Co-Founder and Partner at Vital, a strategy agency he's co-led since 2022 that has helped scale-up companies including Procore, Docusign, Vidmob, Upwork, and Zapier drive what Vital calls Impact-Led Growth (ILG). He spent more than 20 years at generational tech companies including Salesforce, LinkedIn, Box, Zillow, and Snyk, building and scaling their social and environmental impact programs from the inside.

Weaving Impact Into the Operating Model, Not Bolting It On

Bryan's central argument, sharpened across two decades inside companies like Box, Zillow, and Snyk, is that social and environmental impact only sticks when it's woven directly into a company's core operating model and OKRs, not treated as a separate CSR initiative layered on top. At Box, he helped build Box.org into a genuine cultural cornerstone of the company's mission and culture; at Zillow, he integrated social impact directly into the company's strategic operating plan; at Snyk, he launched both social impact and a broader global ESG strategy from scratch. He describes himself as a "social intrapreneur," someone who thrives specifically at the intersection of Silicon Valley and the global nonprofit sector, translating between two worlds that often talk past each other.
