Adam Weber
Adam Weber is an Executive Coach at Adam Weber Coaching, helping leaders manage pressure and lead as their authentic selves. He co-founded and successfully exited two tech companies, Emplify (an employee engagement platform, sold in 2020) and Bluebridge Digital (a mobile app platform, sold in 2016), and later served as Chief Evangelist at 15Five. He is the best-selling author of Lead Like a Human and has been named a LinkedIn "Top Voice" and a Business Insider "Rising Star."
Good Leadership Is Discipline, Not New Information
Adam's clearest coaching insight, after years working with executives and HR leaders, is that nearly everyone already knows what good leadership requires: prepare for hard conversations, don't soften a message into obscurity, delegate, give feedback. The problem isn't a knowledge gap, it's that leaders get busy, stop being intentional, and default patterns take over, which is why he believes growth happens through disciplined reps, not more information. He's equally skeptical of the offsite as a change mechanism: teams rarely fail during the offsite itself, they fail on an ordinary Tuesday, in the sixth meeting of the day, when someone is defensive and behind and the easiest move is to let it go rather than hold the line. He draws directly on his own experience founding and scaling two companies, including his own hard lessons on when executive teams devolve into dysfunction.
